Insulation

Insulation helps retain heat generated during charging and discharging in colder conditions, reducing seasonal performance fluctuations and delivering notable efficiency gains and an eventual payback, while still allowing full ventilation in warmer months.

Security Lock

The optional lock system prevents the cover from being lifted off by securing a bolt beneath the wall screws that the cover hangs on. Each cover includes two locks and two keys per lock.

Check Our Minimum Internal Clearance Dimensions

The dimensions on this page are internal - the usable space inside the cover.

Minimum Internal Clearance Dimensions:

  • 75mm on both sides of the system
  • 100mm to the top of the system

Example:

If your system's width measurement is 700mm, the cover's internal clearance dimension needs to be 850mm. Likewise, if you system's height measurement is 1200mm, the cover's internal clearance dimension needs to be 1300mm.

How do the covers accommodate cable runs?

Every cover comes supplied with adjustable spacers that create a ventilation gap at the rear. The spacers are adjustable (30mm+), giving you plenty of room for most cable runs, and can be fine-tuned seasonally for temperature regulation. If you need extra clearance for bulkier cable runs, we can supply extra-long spacers on request - just get in touch with our team.

How is ventilation handled?

Ventilation is built into the design of our battery covers to ensure safe and efficient operation. Adjustable ventilation gaps allow air to circulate naturally around the battery and inverter, helping to prevent thermal build-up while protecting the system from the elements. These spacers can be adjusted seasonally, allowing increased ventilation in warmer months and reduced gaps in winter, without restricting normal system operation.

Will using a cover void my battery warranty?

No. Our covers are non-intrusive and protect your system within warranty-compliant guidelines. They help shield from weather extremes that may otherwise affect coverage.

Does insulation affect the internal dimensions of the cover?

No, the insulation is integrated into the frame itself, so the internal dimensions of the cover remain completely unaffected.
