INSTRUCTION MANUAL

What do your battery storage covers protect against?

Our covers shield high-value energy storage systems from rain, snow, UV radiation, debris, impact damage, and tampering. Built for outdoor use, they ensure long-term protection.

Are your covers compatible with all battery systems?

Yes. We support all major systems including Tesla Powerwall, GivEnergy, Sunsynk, Solis, Duracell, Fox and all other brands. Custom configurations are available for any size out of our standardised range.

Do the covers affect system cooling or performance?

Yes – in a positive way. Our covers help to regulate temperature year-round. Insulated models reduce thermal loss in winter during charging and discharging cycles and block excessive heat in summer, helping to achieve desirable temperature differentials inside the cover. This can lead to product payback in under 10 years.

Are the covers weatherproof and rust-resistant?

Yes. Our composite clad, aluminium-frame covers resist corrosion, direct sunlight, and harsh weather. Waterproof aluminium (or steel – depending on use case) lids can enable the external installation of non-IP-rated equipment, contact us for further information.

What insulation options are available?

Optional thermal insulation using heat-retaining materials improves winter performance and reduces degradation caused by temperature fluctuations.

How is ventilation handled?

Ventilation gaps are sized relative to system load and allow passive airflow. This supports temperature regulation without compromising system performance.

Are the covers secure or tamper-proof?

Yes. We offer lockable systems and optional EnerGuard asset protection - a police-traceable, forensic marking system with 24/7 database access, proven across 2,300+ cases. Contact us for more information.

Do your covers meet compliance standards?

Yes. Our designs follow best practice for battery and inverter protection and comply with PAS Section 6.6 for mechanical impact near parking areas.

Will using a cover void my battery warranty?

No. Our covers are non-intrusive and protect your system within warranty-compliant guidelines. They help shield from weather extremes that may otherwise affect coverage.

What sizes are available?

We offer standardised sizing to fit most installations. However, our in-house design team can tailor a custom cover to your needs.

Can I install the cover myself?

Yes. Our flat-packed covers are easy to assemble using only a drill and screwdriver. They are designed for fast on-site installation – see our Instruction Manual for more information.

Can I customise the appearance?

Yes. Choose from three wood-effect colourways.

How long do the covers last?

Our composite cladding systems have a tested lifespan exceeding 30 years and require no maintenance. They are built for year-round outdoor exposure. Choose from three wood-effect colourways.

What maintenance is required?

None! Our covers are entirely maintenance-free. A simple occasional clean with a soft cloth is all that’s needed to maintain appearance.

Are the materials eco-friendly or recyclable?

Yes. All components are 100% recyclable. We use recycled UPVC and sustainably sourced aluminium for long-term environmental responsibility.

Do you offer commercial or trade solutions?

Yes. We support installers, housing developers, and M&E contractors with white-label options, bulk pricing, and custom specifications for inverter-only or combined covers.

What is the payback period?

For insulated models, the payback period is estimated at under 10 years through performance optimisation and reduced system degradation.

Where do you deliver and how long does it take?

We deliver UK-wide excluding Northern Ireland. Standard products dispatch quickly and arrive flat-packed. Bespoke orders have relatively short lead times thanks to our in-house design and fabrication team.
